About Neighbor to Neighbor
Neighbor to Neighbor shares food, diapers, utility assistance, and caring community with our low-income neighbors in East Austin, with a special focus on our senior neighbors.
In 2023, we shared 79,324 pounds of nutritious, shelf-stable food and fresh produce 78,953 diapers and incontinence products for babies and seniors $40,835.51 of bus passes, grocery gift cards, and utility bill assistance.
For neighbors in need who live in zip codes 78702, 78721, 78723, 78724, 78741, and 78752, services include:

- food pantry, including fresh produce, for seniors age 55+
- baby diapers, incontinence products, and period products
- utility bill assistance and bus passes
Walk-through services for food and/or diapers are by appointment only. For more information, or to join the wait list, call or text 512-879-4352 (English) or 512-879-4365 (Spanish). Our partner agencies are Central Texas Food Bank, Austin Diaper Bank, and City Of Austin Utilities Plus 1 program.
Utility assistance may be available for eligible Austin Energy customers. Text the Welcome Table Community Assistance line at 512-943-7978 with pictures of the first page of your most recent bill, your photo ID, and proof of income.
