How to Get Involved
Help us prepare or deliver free bags of pantry staples, fresh produce and diapers to neighbors in need who are high risk for complications from COVID-19. All volunteer activities are conducted according to strict social distancing protocols, including the use of masks and gloves (provided upon request). To sign up for shifts, please click here
- Food Bag Packers (Tuesday and Wednesday morning and afternoon):
Small groups (<10) pack pantry staples and fresh produce using CDC-recommended food preparation protocols. Morning volunteers also unload a produce delivery, and afternoon volunteers also move the bags outside for delivery.
- Food Truck Unloading (Monday morning):
Move ~9,000 pounds of pantry staples. These shifts involve lifting and pushing/pulling dollies, so wear weather-appropriate athletic clothes.
- Diaper Delivery (Friday Afternoon):
Bring orders to qualifying families via contact-free home delivery. A valid license, current auto insurance and a 20 minute orientation required for new volunteers.
- Diaper Curbside Pickup (Friday Afternoon):
Assist with contact-free driver check-in and loading diaper orders into neighbors’ vehicles. Please come prepared to spend time outdoors!
